Amritha Aiyer Biography

Amritha Aiyer is an Indian actress who predominantly works in the Tamil film industry. She was born in Chennai and brought up in Bangalore city. Amritha started her career as a model. She made her acting debut in the Tamil film Padai Veeran along with Actor Vijay Yesudas directed by Dhana and produced by Madhivanan of Evoke. Amritha made her debut in Kannada movie industry with Gramayana, a film directed by Devanuru Chandru.

After Padaiveeran film, Amritha acted in 'Kaali Kaali' with Vijay Antony, directed by Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi. Amritha had also played a role in Pei Pasi, directed by Srinivas Kavinayam. Amritha played in 'Bigil' penned and directed by Atlee Kumar, 'Vijay' and 'Nayanthara' in the lead roles which have brought her to fame overnight.

She started her acting career with a TV serial, titled Chempattu, which is a 2017 Malayalam devotional series aired on Asianet. She made her big-screen debut as the main lead in 2018 with 'Padaiveeran' and nominated for SIIMA Best Debutant Actress in Tamil.
