Chiranjeevi

Chiranjeevi is an Indian Actor and politician who knows for his exclusive works in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Hindi movies. He made his film debut with the film Punadhirallu in 1978. He appeared in more than 150 feature films, many of those are blockbuster hits and top industry hits. He is called as the Tollywood king and boss of Telugu cinema.He awarded as the supreme hero in the Tollywood and later awarded Title Megastar.

Chiranjeevi birth name is Konidela Siva Sankara Vara Prasad, was born in Mogalthuru, West Godavari district.His father name is Konidela Venkat Rao who is worked as police constable and mother name is Anjana Devi. Some of his popular Flims are Shubhalekha(1982), Swayam Krushi(1987), Aapathbandhavudu(1992), Gharana Mogudu(1992), Indra(2002), Shankar Dada MBBS(2004), Khaidi No. 150(2017), Sye Raa Narashima Reddy(2020).

Chiranjeevi was also acted in Bollywood and other languages and got recognized for his good works. Prathibandh(1990) and Aaj ka Goonda raj are the Bollywood films of Chiranjeevi.

In October 1998, Chiranjeevi started the Chiranjeevi Charitable Trust (CCT) which includes Chiranjeevi Eye banks and Blood banks. In 2008, Chiranjeevi founded the Praja Rajyam Party in the state of Andhra Pradesh. He was an independent Minister of State for the Ministry of Tourism and the Government of India from October 27, 2012 to May 15, 2014.

Chiranjeevi received the Padma Bhushan, the third highest civilian honour in India in the year 2006. He was awarded an Honorary Doctorate by Andhra University in the same year. In his film career He won ten Filmfare Awards South and a four Nandi Awards. He was the first actor from South India to be invited to the Oscars ceremony in 1987.
