Guruprasad Biography

Guruprasad is a prominent actor, director, and writer in the Kannada film industry. His debut as a director was the 2006 film Mata which became a cult hit. Guruprasad was a scientist in the Hindustan Lever company. Later he chose to follow his passion, and entered the film industry.

Guruprasad also acted in films like Mylari in 2010, Kal Manja and Hudugaru in 2011, Whistle in 2013, and Karodpathi in 2014. He became a jury in the dance reality show Thaka Dhimmi Tha Dancing Star on ETV Kannada in 2014 and the second season of Suvarna TV Kannada's Putani Pantru Putani Pantru in 2015. He also hosted Zee Kannada's Life Super Guru and joined the reality show, Bigg Boss Kannada 2 in 2014.
