Harris Jayaraj is an Indian Film Composer, who appeared in Tamil and Telugu Film Industries. Harris Jayaraj established himself as the most popular and commercially successful music composer. He began his composing career in 2001 with Tamil Film Minnale, for which he won Filmfare Award for Best Music Director. Harris Jayaraj born in Chennai, Tamil Nadu to S M Jayakumar and Mother Name Not Known. He married to Suma Jayaraj on 1999 the couple have two children Nikhil and Nikitha.
Harris Jayaraj is best known for his worked in films, including Kaappaan, Dhruva Natchathiram, Dev, Spyder, Gethu, Yaan, Anegan, Thuppakki, Ko, Engeyum Kadhal, Aadhavan, Ayan, Vaaranam Aayiram, Dhaam Dhoom, Ghajini, Anniyan, Kaakha Kaakha, and Minnale, etc.
Harris has won 6 Filmfare Awards South and since 2001, has received 18 Filmfare Awards South nominations. He has also won 6 Mirchi Music Awards, 5 Vijay Awards, 3 Tamil Nadu State Film Awards, 3 International Tamil Film Awards and Big FM Awards. He has honored with Kalaimamani Award from the Government of Tamil Nadu and Life Time Achievement Award from Konijeti Rosaiah, the Governor of Tamil Nadu.
