Krishnam Raju is an Indian film actor, a politician known for his works in the Telugu film industry. He made his debut with Chilaka Gorinka film directed by Kotayya Pratyagatma opposite Krishna Kumari. He has acted in over 175 films and, won many awards for his various roles. He has won five Filmfare Awards South and three Nandi Awards. Krishnam Rajun was referred to as Rebel Star by his worldwide fans. Actor Prabhas is the nephew of him.

Krishnam Raju known for films like Amara Deepam (1977), Mana Voori Pandavulu (1978), Bobbili Brahmanna (1984), Tandra Paparayudu (1986), Antima Teerpu (1988), Jailor Gaari Abbayi (1994), Palnati Pourusham (1994), Simhada Mari (1997), Billa (2009), Rebel (2012), and Rudramadevi (2015).
