Lokesh Kanagaraj is an Indian film director who works predominantly in the Tamil movie industry. He is best known for writing and directing the action-thriller films Maanagaram (2017) and Kaithi (2019). Master (2020) is his upcoming movie starring Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi,Malavika Mohanan in the leading roles.
Lokesh lives in Chennai, but his home town is Coimbatore.Before coming to films, He worked as bank employee for 4-5 years in a private bank.On September 15, 2011, he got engaged to Aishwarya Lokesh, and after a year, on 8 January 2012, the duo got married. They have been blessed with a girl Adhvika Lokesh.The movie won the titles for Best Director, Best Film, and Best Actor in a short movie festival, Clubace, which held in 2012.
