Manikandan Achari

Manikandan R. Achari is an Indian film actor, who appears in Malayalam films. Manikandan R Achari is also a theater artist and has worked with theater groups like Lokadharmi and Bhasabheri. He made his acting debut with a movie named Kammatti Paadam in which he played the role of Balan Chettan directed by Rajeev Ravi.

His father used to play Udukku and used to sing. Most of the members of his family are artists. He is a VI class dropout and has worked in theater at the age of 11.

Manikandan Achari got married to Anjali in an exceedingly simple temple wedding in Tripunithura, Kerala. He donated the cash saved for the marriage to Kerala Chief Minister's Relief Fund.
