Murukan Kattakada

Murukan Kattakada is an Indian film lyricist, a poet who primarily works in the Malayalam film industry. Murukan's notable projects include White Paper (2021), Mayakottaram (2021). He started his career as a teacher. He was teaching Economics for classes Plus 1 and 2 in SMV Govt Higher Secondary School, Trivandrum. He wrote more than 100 poems within a small period, and also wrote lyrics for some films. He was also the presenter of the program 'Ellarum Chollan' on Doordarshan channel.
