N.Lingusamy Biography

N.Lingusamy is an Indian film director, producer, story writer, and screenplay writer known for his works in Tamil and Telugu cinema. He made his directorial debut with the Tamil film Aanandham in 2001, starring Mammootty. In his career starting, he worked as an assistant under A. Venkatesh and Vikraman. His first film won several awards including the Filmfare Award for Best Film – Tamil and Tamil Nadu State Film Award.

Lingusamy knows for popular movies like Run (2002), Sandakozhi (2005), Bheemaa (2008), Paiyaa (2010), Vettai (2012), Anjaan (2014), and Sandakozhi 2 (2018). In 2021, he announced his next directorial film with Ram Pothineni, the film produced by Srinivasa Chitturi.
