Nag Ashwin is an Indian film director and screenwriter who knows for his works in Telugu film Industry. In 2015, He made his directorial debut with Yevade Subramanyam starring Nani in the lead role. After in 2018, he directed the multilingual biographical film Mahanati, the life events based on legendary actress Savitri. The film won various awards including, Best Feature Film in Telugu in National Film Awards 2019.

Nag Ashwin married to Priyanka Dutt, daughter of famous producer Ashwini Dutt. In 2020, he scheduled to direct his next film Prabhas's 21st movie featuring Deepika Padukone in the opposite lead role.
