Rahul Dholakia Biography

Rahul Dholakia is an Indian film director, producer, and screenwriter, who has worked predominantly in Bollywood. He did his Masters from the New York Institute of technology in Filmmaking. In his career starting, he made documentaries and directed some commercials. He made his directorial debut with the movie 'Kehtaa Hai Dil Baar Baar' in 2002.

Rahul Dholakia next film based on a real-life story of 10-year-old Parsi boy 'Parzaan' which brought him National Award for 2006. After he is known for Mumbai Cutting(2008), Lamhaa(2010), Raees(2017), Society Kaam Se Gayi(2013).

He is presently working on a movie called Shabaash Mithu, a Bollywood biography movie on the life of the legend female cricketer Mithali Raj starring Taapsee Pann.
