Ravi Babu is a veteran film director, producer, and actor of Telugu film industry. He was born in Poranki, Vijayawada, in the state of Andhra Pradesh, India. He is known for his work in Telugu cinema as well as Kannada & Tamil Movies. Also, he has acted in overall 75 movies for all roles. especially who want to see him even as a comedian or even villain.

His initial years in the industry as an actor were not much successful. Hence he turned film director with the Telugu film Allari in the year 2002. The movie highly appreciated by the critics and the audience. His directorial films such as Nachavule and Amaravathi were among the biggest hits then he became one of the most innovative and successful directors of the Telugu film industry.
