S Thaman Biography

S.Thaman is an Indian music director and singer who knows for his works in several Indian languages. His father Ghantasala Siva Kumar was a Drummer, who worked for seven hundred films, under the legendary composer, K. Chakravarthy. Thaman is married to playback singer Sri Vardhini.

Thaman Started a Tamil music career in Tamil film Sindhanai Sei (2008) and Telugu film kick (2009) and Kannada film power. Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava in 2018 was Thaman's 100th film as a music director. He directed music for Bollywood movie Golmal Again. He composed a theme song for Simmba movie. He owns a music band named Thakkali.

Thaman got Three South Indian International Movie Awards and one Filmfare Awards South for best music director. He got so many awards such as The Hyderabad Times Film Awards, MAA Music Awards, TSR TV9 Awards, Gama Awards, Zee Cine Awards.

In 2020, he scored music for Allu Arjun Starrer 'Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo' directed by Trivikram Srinivas is creating positive vibes on YouTube and other platforms.
