Shamna Kasim

Shamna Kasim was born on 23rd of January 1989 as the youngest of five children in a Muslim family to Kassim and Ramla Beevi. She made her acting debut in the 2004 Malayalam movie Manju Poloru Penkutty. In the beginning, she was participating in the reality-based dance competition Super Dancer on Amrita TV in 2005. Mainly she has acted in many Malayalam films and also in few Tamil movies and in Telugu movies. Her latest movie is Kaappaan a Tamil movie released in 2019. She has won MGR-Sivaji Academy Awards - Best actress for the Tamil movie Savarakathi. She is judge for several reality Tv shows of Malayam and Telugu.
